EICAP is currently accepting applications for a Family Advocate for our Head Start center in Rexburg. This position is full-time/seasonal. This position is currently filled. However, applications will be accepted on a continual basis.

  • Knowledge in Social Services or related work.
  • Prefer minimum of two years experience in family social services setting such as crisis intervention, and providing training in self-help skills.
  • Prior home visiting experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic teaching methods, medical disciplines and local community resources required.
  • Must have TB screen and physical examination with in 30 days of date of hire.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or Equivalency Degree (GED).
  • Recent experience with pre-school children required.
  • CDA preferred.  (If you accept employment with EICAP Head Start you will be required to begin the process of obtaining your CDA immediately.  You will be given 12 months from date of hire to complete).
  • AA in Early Childhood Education, desired.
