Attending Physician/Oncology –
Boise, Idaho; 40 hrs/ wk (OT as required); 8 am-5 pm M-F;
Multiple Positions
Provide professional services in the specialty of medical oncology and hematology with respect to the treatment of cancer and benign hematology patients; Using advanced medical education and professional experience in the healthcare industry to provide personal direct medical services to patients; Diagnose, prescribe and administer treatment and medication to address symptoms and issues related to cancer and hematology; Consult with or direct other medical care providers as necessary providing the appropriate quality of medical care; Participate in weekly tumor boards providing an opportunity to collaborate with our fellowship-trained surgeons in breast, plastic/ reconstruction, gynecology, oncology, colorectal, neurosurgery, thoracic and esophageal specialties of medicine. Required: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree or foreign degree equivalent; Board certification in Internal Medicine and Hematology/ Oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment; Idaho medical licensure; Candidates should be prepared to obtain Oregon medical licensure; Medical Staff Privilege at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa; may need future privileges at other affiliated hospitals; Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and Drug Enforcement Agency.
