Job Description: Superintendent/Forman 

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent/Forman to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in all aspects of excavation, including: 

• Oversee and manage all aspects of excavation projects, including underground utilities, grading, and road construction 

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of work 

• Supervise and lead a 3-5 person crew, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met 

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in every phase of excavation and construction 

• Ensure proper equipment use, safety protocols, and adherence to project timelines 

• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers to ensure project success 

• Ensure that all work complies with local regulations and safety standards 

• Monitor progress and provide daily reports to upper management 

• Address any on-site issues or challenges promptly to maintain project flow 

• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to crew members to promote teamwork and job quality.
