Mechanic

MECHANIC: 

Maintain and repair a fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and small engine equipment. Will be required to diagnose, repair, and service all company owned vehicles and heavy equipment. 

For over 30 years, Westwood Curtis Construction has been building in the Central Rocky Mountain Region. Our headquarters are centrally located in Jackson Hole, however, we have completed projects throughout the region in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. We have constructed many roads and driveways, installed water systems, sewer lines, storm drainages, large & small scale earth moving, residential and commercial foundations, levees, demolition, bridges and many other civil engineering projects.

Preferred Skills: Familiarity with and basic  

understanding of Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, and Case diagnostic programs is required, as well as the ability to trouble shoot electrical and hydraulic systems. 

• Move or lift heavy objects
• Understand technical, operating, service and/or repair manuals
• Read schematics - Knowledge of Fleetio or experience recording work orders in data management programs
• Adhere to safety procedures
• Examine equipment to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed 
• Observe or listen to machinery or equipment operation to detect malfunctions 
• Operate machinery engine electrical system test equipment
• Service machinery
• Use engine diagnostic equipment
• Repair or replace electrical wiring, circuits, or equipment 
• Test electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, systems
